My timetable says I need to complete enrolment, but I've already enrolled or can't enrol.

If your timetable is telling you to complete enrolment, the first thing to do is check your enrolment status in Sydney Student.

I'm having issues viewing my timetable

If you’re having problems viewing your timetable, there are a few things to check.

I can't see a timetable for one of my units

Once timetables are available, if you can’t see one of your units in Sydney Timetable there are a few things to check.

Should my OLE unit be on my timetable?

Your OLE unit will only appear on your timetable if it has scheduled classes.

How do I sync my timetable to my calendar feed?

To display your timetable in your calendar you can follow these steps: Log in to Sydney Timetable and select 'Subscribe to your timetable'.

Preferences

Why can't I enter timetable preferences for some of my units?

You won’t have the option to enter preferences for a unit that is listed as read-only.

Why didn't I get my timetable preferences?

We do our best to consider your preferences but unfortunately there are no guarantees.

What can I do if I don't get my class preference on my timetable?

If you didn’t get your preferred class and the class is full, you may be able to request a class swap.

What happens if I miss the timetable preferencing deadline?

If you miss the preferencing deadline, in most cases we’ll allocate you into classes.

What happens if I enrol or change my units after timetable preferences close?

If you enrol or select new units after preferences close, in most cases you’ll be allocated a timetable for those units.

Changing your timetable

Can my timetable be changed after the deadline for making adjustments has passed?

Generally, your timetable can’t be changed after the deadline to make adjustments, which is the end of the second week of classes in Semesters 1 and 2.

If I withdraw from a unit and later re-enrol in the same unit, can I be allocated to the same class?

There’s no guarantee you’ll be allocated to the same class if you withdraw from a unit and later re-enrol in that unit.

How can I change a class time on my timetable?

There’s an opportunity to change classes during the review and adjust period.

I can't see the heart button to request a swap on my timetable

There could be a few reasons you can't see the heart button.

Clashes and full classes

I'm not allocated to a class on my timetable and can't allocate myself. What should I do?

If you're not allocated to a class and all the options are full or clash, you can click the heart button next to a full activity to join the waitlist for that activity.

I have a timetable clash. What should I do?

First, determine if your clash is allowable or if it needs to be fixed.

Can I get into a class that is full on my timetable?

If you see ‘FULL’ in a red button next to a class on your timetable...
