Understanding your fees

International fees

As an international student (that is, a student that is not an Australian citizen or permanent resident visa holder, New Zealand citizen, or Australian humanitarian visa holder) there are fees that you pay to attend the University:

  • Tuition fees for your course
  • Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF)

As an international student, you are not eligible for Australian Government assistance or HELP loans and are required to pay the full international fee for your course. If you receive sponsorship or a scholarship towards your fees, you are required to pay the remaining balance of your fees.

These fees do not include overseas student health cover, living costs (such as accommodation) or any additional costs for equipment and materials such as textbooks.

When are my fees due?

There are several different fee due dates in the year depending on the teaching periods in which you are enrolled. You can see your personal fee due dates on your financial statement in Sydney Student.

All payment dates are also available on the Key dates page.

How do I pay?

For more information about payment methods, see paying your fees.
