Supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to gain entry to the University with reduced requirements and a range of academic and personal support.

Benefits

The Gadigal Entry Program gives you access to the following benefits.

  • Entry to eligible courses with reduced requirements (listed as Gadigal ATARs below).
  • Ability to apply for an early conditional offer (where you receive an offer to study at the University before you sit your Year 12 exams).
  • An academic skills program before commencing University.
  • Ongoing academic and personal support throughout your degree.

Eligibility

This pathway is open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students for undergraduate study. Year 12 students and post-high school students are invited to apply.

How to apply

1. Apply through UAC

2. Complete the Gadigal Entry Program application

  • When applying, ensure you self-identify as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student.
  • Place a course that is eligible for the Gadigal Entry Program as one of your UAC preferences.
  • If you meet the eligibility criteria for the degree, you will get an alert on the UAC homepage.
  • Complete the additional application form in UAC.

Applications open April 2026
Early conditional offer applications close TBC
Early conditional offers released TBC
UAC December Round 2* applications close TBC
Late round Gadigal Program applications close TBC

*December Round 2 is the main UAC offer round where most offers for Semester 1 are made. If you submit an application after this, you may not be considered until the January offer rounds.
